Having a good time

I came down from Alpine around 6 PM this evening and plan to remain here until midday Sunday while my husband is on a fishing trip. Here's the scenery as I got to the big hill south of Alpine.

It was dark by the time I got to the oasis.

One of my brothers gave me a bunch of really old family photos, which I'm planning to scan and circulate among the family this weekend.

Here's one I really like. It's of my German grandfather holding my mother, taken in Waterloo, Iowa.

Now back to work....or play.
