Slow day

It was a lovely, cool and cloudy day, so I went to Lajitas, but didn't see anything interesting there. About the most interesting was this pretty female Kiowa Dancer (I think).

And back at the oasis I photographed what Brian is pretty sure is a Bronze Roadside-Skipper. It's not a new oasis species; Brian had documented it here several years ago, but I hadn't seen or photographed one.

I can't tell most of the small dark skippers apart but I think learning them will be easier than learning the female damselflies. Rain is in the forecast. Here's hoping.....
