I'm determined to get some to grow here at our Alpine habitat. I went to Post Park south of Marathon today to check out the butterflies on it. Hoping to find an Erichson's White-Skipper there like a did a couple of years ago, but so far no luck. Here are a few of the species I did find on the
Common Buttonbush (
Cephalanthus occidentalis).

Question Mark |

Sachem Skipper |

Common Streaky-Skipper |

Fiery Skipper |

Lyside Sulphur |

Orange Sulphur |
The above are just a sample of the dozens of species on the buttonbush. Gotta get some.
