Uncooperative weather

For the last couple of days there have been birders at the oasis while the wind has been raging. Miserable. So today, no wind, no birders, and I had to go to town. It's demoralizing.

I uncovered the Tree Tobacco again before I left there. Now I hear it might freeze Saturday night. It was 33° at the oasis this morning. I think the plants will be OK since they're near the tank. Probably a light frost won't hurt them either.

But I may have to cover the tomatoes in town tomorrow. Since they're caged, it'll be a challenge.
