I managed to survive another July 4th. By staying at CMO I didn't have to suffer all night from fireworks. I enjoyed my daughter and her husband's visit although didn't get to spend much time with them. My daughter posed for this photo that doesn't make me happy. I found it on her Facebook page. Lots of people fall to their death trying for a breathtaking photo. I trust her judgement, but still...
And per her husband, it was a straight drop all the way down.
Yesterday had another great annual barbecue with friends in Alpine.
I'm stuck in Alpine today. Feeling the itch to go odeing. Think I'll head south tomorrow. I did find a
Variable Dancer at our ponds here in town. I've had that species lots of places but first for here. I think that's a good sign that the habitat here is improving.
