Peak Ocotillo blooming time

It seems ironic that everything is so dry, yet ocotillo are blooming and Lucifers are scarce at the feeders. I watered half of the trees today and will do the other half tomorrow. Keep trying for better butterfly photos of the few species around. My favorite of the day is this Western Pygmy-Blue on blooming Fourwing Saltbush.

I should probably quit while I'm ahead, but will add just one more, an Arizona Powdered-Skipper.
