A huge relief!

My daughter (Isabel) has departed the hospital with a mile long list of instructions. I'm optimistic for a quick recovery with no complications. That's all I've been focused on lately, so that's all I have to blog about.

Not much going on bird-wise anyway. And triple digit heat to boot!

Good news again! Yay. I am sure she and the rest of you are all so glad she can come home, and in good shape after such scary event. Whew.

Yes, you've no idea! Even her surgeon said she dodged a bullet. But there are still dangers, such as infection or blood clot. And we still haven't gotten the biopsy results yet.

I’ve always said there is no greater love than that of a mother, be it a Mama bird and her baby chick or a human mother and her daughter. She stands a better chance for a fast recovery with you around. Hang in there.

Yes, she's surrounded by a big loving family, only just her doting husband is present. That's how she wants it. She's doing great, all things considered.
