At CMO I saw a waterthrush along the edge of the big tank. Thinking it's a Northern Waterthrush but not positive.

Came to the oasis midday as soon as the tire shop finished aligning my pickup's front end and putting on new tires. A few miles before I came to the Elephant Mountain Rest Area (about 20 miles south of town) I saw a dead elk cow along the highway that had been hit by a car. I saw it there when I went to town the other day too.
Looking at the amount of car debris there, it damaged the vehicle that hit it pretty substantially.
