Rain update

After I already posted it started raining. Rained light to heavy for about an hour. Over .6" so far. The upper dirt tank nearly filled up and since it doesn't hold water for long I started pumping it. May have to stay up all night to keep it gassed up but better than losing a bunch. Then tomorrow I'll pump it from the lower dirt tank to the stucco tank. Should be a month's supply and may mean the difference between hauling water for a month in the spring. Rather lose a night's sleep. If we get a deluge in the night I'll quit pumping, of course.
