Early this morning I put a sprinkler under the cottonwood tree and it attracted lots of bathers. I was trying to get a photo of a different tanager that I thought was a Hepatic, but couldn't, so ended up photographing this Western Tanager. Maybe a juvenile.

An ordinary day? I so seldom get an ordinary day that I don't know if you could call it "ordinary." Tomorrow I'm going to Lajitas for a dragonfly fix.
