This is the best Streaky-Skipper photo I've taken so far. Too bad it was perched on a gate. I had company and didn't even think to shoo it to a flower or something. for a better photo after I got it documented. It's either a Common or Scarce Streaky-Skipper. Both occur in this area. No wonder the Scarce is scarce. You have to disect it to determine which of the two species it is.
I'm eager to get the stucco tank project done and over with so I can get on with my life. Maybe even have time to go to Lajitas looking for dragonflies. I don't know how I'll get the energy to do the tank but I usually manage to do what I have to do. Running myself ragged though.
